4th Annual National School Choice Week Event Jan 30

On January 30, 2026, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, several thousand students, teachers, and family members spanning five states will tune in for the SLAM Foundation’s Choice Week Challenge: SLAM-A-PALOOZA 2026 to celebrate National School Choice Week 2026

Hosted by students for students, the show will be streamed live from SLAM Miami, one of the non-profit foundation’s more than a dozen public charter schools.

The mini-Olympics will feature each school competing for the gold, with SLAM K-12 students in Arizona, Florida, Nevada, Texas, and Georgia participating based on school spirit and fun. It combines what SLAM does best—focusing on sports—and students showing their school spirit! The winning team or teams will compete for $500 for their team and $500 for their school to celebrate their trophy.
