The SLAM Foundation is proud to celebrate one of our most extraordinary students, Bella Nieves, who has redefined what’s possible for middle school achievement. As an 8th grader, Bella earned all the requirements for an Associate in Arts degree and completed the prerequisites for two bachelor’s degrees—before even beginning high school.

Bella continues to embody the mission of SLAM by challenging limits and striving for academic excellence. She plans to pursue two bachelor’s degrees through Doral College while attending SLAM Boca. She also had the remarkable opportunity to meet and engage with Florida Commissioner of Education, Manny Diaz, in a special feature on SLAM Radio.

Bella’s journey is a powerful example of what determination, vision, and early college access can accomplish. We are thrilled to highlight her outstanding achievement and announce that she is the recipient of the prestigious Doral College President’s Academic Excellence Award.
