SLAM Foundation Hosts Successful 2025 SLAM Olympics for National School Choice Week

On January 31st, 2025, thousands of students, teachers, and family members from four states came together to participate in the highly anticipated Choice Week Challenge hosted by the SLAM Foundation: SLAM Olympics 2025, in celebration of National School Choice Week 2025.

The event, organized by students, for students, was broadcast live from SLAM! Apollo Beach, one of the foundation's charter public schools. Over a dozen SLAM schools participated both online and in person in the exciting competition.

The mini-Olympics saw students from SLAM K-12 schools in Arizona, Florida, Nevada, and Georgia competing for the gold, with a focus on school spirit and fun. The event perfectly showcased the foundation's commitment to blending sports with student engagement and pride.

The winning team(s) earned $500 for their school to celebrate their victory.

The event was a resounding success, bringing together SLAM students from across the country to celebrate their schools and show off their competitive spirit.
